at se noget fantastisk hundearbejde.
Vi ses derude
Lars Mertz
In English:
My name is Lars Mertz,
first of all thanks for the invitation to once again have the opportunity to
judge the Nordic Championship for Golden.
I got my first Golden
in 1978 and have had Golden ever since, I quickly got the interest in field
trials and has since 1980 participated in many trials both in Denmark and
abroad and has obtained certificate with several of my dogs.
I have been a fieldtrials judge since 1992 and have had the pleasure of judging in all the
Scandinavian countries, including Iceland.
I look forward to
meeting our Nordic friends and look forward to seeing some fantastic dog work.
See you out there

Petteri Hirvonen, Finland:
Thank you
for inviting me to judge Golden Retriever Nordic Championships.
I was chief
steward in the Golden Nordic Championships in Finland 2016 and won the team
championship 2012, so it is nice to come and see this years event in Denmark.
Nature and
outdoors are not merely hobbies for me, they are my way of life. I have been an
active hunter for more than 35 years, and it's been 30 years since my family
got our 1st labrador retriever.
At the
moment we have two golden retrievers and a devilish cocker spaniel in our
family. My older golden Weljesten Geronimo Au "Kero" was the first
and is still the only golden field trial champion in Finland and winner of
several WT:s. We have represented Finland around Europe in many high level
events, e.g. IWTs, Nordic Championships (all breeds), CLA Eurochallenge, and
Skinners International Retriever World Cup. At the moment I am running my young
Goldie Peruddens Will to Finish "Bolt" in the highest class in WT as
well as in field trials.
I enjoy
participating and judging tests and trials, but actual hunting and shooting
remain my main passions. I hunt both big game and small game. I have
judged in several European countries, and as a judge I am looking for a good
hunting dog.
I am excited and honored to be offered a chance
to judge in this event. I hope to see a lot of good dog work and wish everybody
good luck and success!
Ragnhild Hammelbo, Norway:
First of all I would like to thank you for the invitation to judge the Nordic WT Championship for Goldens.
My life with Labradors started in 1994, but it was not until 2002 that tests and competitions became the main focus. I have now three Labradors in the house and all spare time is used on them. Besides the time with my dogs, I run a small business with physiotherapy and rehabilitation of dogs.
I have been a judge for 2 years and I truly enjoy the job. I get to see the whole range of dogs and owners and all the work they put into their hobby and the love for their dogs.
This is why I look forward to see you all in Denmark in July.
Good Luck to all of you
Ragnhild Hammelbo
Hanne Søndenbroe, Denmark:

1968 a lovely Flat Coated Retriever followed by 2 others.Since 1995, I had

Icompete with my dogs on field trials and with one of them at blod track, most of the autumn and winter is spend with the dogs
retrieving birds for hunters atsome manors and small farms in Denmark and ondear hunting in Sweden, where we use the dogs for the moose. Work with my Labradors is a special
pleasure.
I have been a judge since 2010 for the
Retrievers and since 2016 also for Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. I have had
the pleasure ofbeing invited to Sweden and Norway for judging several times. Ienjoy to seehow the different racessolve the tasks they
are given in their own way.
I look forward to meeting friends and see some great dog work during the test.
Good Luck to all

Per-Anders Norling, Sweden:
First
I want to thank you for being invited to judge the Nordic Golden Championship,
I feel honored.
I came in contact with the retriever when my father bought his first Labrador
in the late 60s, I was 11 years old.
We had the dogs because we hunted small game and needed dogs that could
retrieve. At that time there were many wild pheasants in Sweden. My
dad tried other dog breeds but they didn't work as well as retrievers.
In the middle of the 80s I came into contact with retrievertrails and learned
to train a retriever for trails.
I mostly go hunting with my dogs, that's why I have my Labradors. Currently, I
have 4 labradors that are between 2 and 12 ½ years and one Bravarian hound to
use in deer and wild boar hunting.
I have been a judge for a number of years now and besides judging I start my
dogs on trails both in Sweden and Denmark.
Looking forward to a wonderful weekend with everyone.
